Our Favorite:
That Place in Ogunquit
If you want to have a confusing conversation about where to go to dinner, That Place in Ogunquit will always slip you up. There is nothing befuddling about the food though. It’s spot on. There are a lot of upscale restaurants on the seacoast that get a lot of hype, but this one seems to fly under the radar. It’s truly delightful and consistently so. The service is as great as the food even during peak season. The menu is upscale American Bistro with Gluten Free options and an occasional unexpected offering like Green Curry Thai Noodles. The ambiance is casual elegance.

Bonissoni
We spent a summer in Brazil and let me tell you, this restaurant brings us right back there. This is a Rodízio-style restaurant. It’s all you can eat so you really do get your money’s worth. The waiters come around endlessly with different cuts of meat that are slow-cooked on the rotisserie. It’s all so delicious and perfectly cooked. I feel like this restaurant is often overlooked by tourists and I truly don’t know why.

MC Perkin’s Cove
This is a classic upscale American Bistro restaurant with a strong emphasis on seafood and steak. They also have a raw bar. It sits directly on the water so you will be paying in a large part for your view. It receives rave reviews though.

Walkers Maine
Chef Justin and his wife departed from Earth at Hidden Pond to open their own restaurant. They are locally sourced, farm-to-table. This restaurant is a year-round favorite of locals and tourists alike. I personally recommend sitting in the main dining room as opposed to the Wyeth room. The Wyeth room is a little stale whereas the main dining room is warm and cozy.
